About Me
Smirna Romero
I studied Psychology in Venezuela at the Central University of Venezuela and then I did a master’s degree in Community Clinical Psychology at the Andres Bello Catholic University.
I’ve been based in Melbourne since 2016 and I am currently registered as a General Psychologist at AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) and a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc.
With more than 8 years of experience, I have been treating clients and providing clinical assessments. Over these years I’ve helped many clients going through different mental issues and life problems such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family problems, domestic violence and abuse, self-esteem issues, and disorders related to adjusting to higher education.
Besides my psychology experience, I support physical and mental wellbeing. Therefore, I will help and encourage you to seek and work for a healthy lifestyle that will positively affect all areas of your life.
